Kathleen Durland, RN   Practice Manager
Kathy has worked in the healthcare industry, in a variety of settings, for over thirty years.  As a registered nurse, her primary training was in the hospital where not only did she work as a staff nurse and preceptor but also served on the nine member Steering Committee for the 90 million dollar Second Century Building Campaign at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair

In addition to her nursing supervisory duties at Changebridge Medical Associates, she also manages our general office needs as the practice Office Manager.  Her duties include Human Resources, advertising, graphic arts, and maintaining the  network computer systems.  Kathy makes every effort to cover the business needs of the practice while still providing an anchor of support for our patients, Providers and staff members.

The Nursing Department
Staffed with capable individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes processing the many and varied Physician and Provider orders and directives to ensure you receive the highest quality of health care delivery.  Forms, paperwork, results, and consultation letters – all are reviewed and directed in the most expedient manner.

Clinicians

Changebridge Medical Associates is proud of our crew of experienced, highly trained, caring Clinician’s.  Familiar faces to our patient’s, they are happy to guide you through the many steps that are now an every day part of patient care.  Our clinician staff, all shares in making your visit to our office as comfortable as possible.  Many of our clinician’s are currently enrolled in various higher education institutions around the state.  One member has completed her course of study and field training as a New Jersey Paramedic.  Others either are actively continuing their education in such fields as Nursing and other professional studies.  Our Clinicians all take many continuing education courses to keep them up-to-date on the ever-changing world of health care delivery.  Our versatile clinicians assist in every department at Changebridge Medical Associates and have great overall understanding of every aspect of our patient’s cares and concerns.

Reception Department
The old term “front desk” refers only to furniture at Changebridge Medical Associates.  Our responsive, dedicated Reception Team is here to assist our patients efficiently past the requirements of the insurance companies, straight to the care of your Providers and their support staff.
Changebridge Medical Associates takes pride in it’s commitment to the hiring practice of employing personnel who not only satisfy credentialing requirements but also bring a wealth of varied life experience and background to their job and to our patients.  Our qualified receptionists are able to manage one of the pivotal departments of any medical office and bring unique background and experience to that role.  Our staff has various past certifications in areas of holistic medicine, experience in billing, parenting and significant work in settings that require understanding of the principles of business.  This makes them key individuals who are able to assist you and your family, as the department that is the first point of contact at your family doctor’s office.  Having such strong anchor personnel is Changebridge Medical’s commitment to our patients in their time of need.  Call us, come to us, write to us - our very able receptionists are ready to receive, direct and facilitate your call for assistance to the right place for care and action.

Jennifer Zavier - Billing Coordinator
Jennifer’s first goal is to ensure that our family of patient’s, receive Changebridge Medical’s brand of personalized health care through overseeing the complexities of insurance benefits and reimbursements.
Her friendly voice can be heard explaining how best to take the worry out of all that paperwork.  As the direct liaison to our outside billing company, Jennifer monitor’s how the many parts of patient visit information is translated from our Montville exam rooms to your insurance companies.  For routine billing questions, the billing company should be called at the number listed on the Contact Numbers page but if you would like to understand those ever-changing insurance company rules a little better, Jennifer is on site, five days a week, happy to return your telephone calls and inquiries.

Support Staff

Changebridge Medical employs a large support staff from the community to help with the many detailed tasks of ensuring patient’s records and needs are carefully updated and managed.  In a "paperless" office, there is certainly a great deal of paper to process.  From high school juniors and seniors to part-time workers – all are busily working in the back offices in an effort to seamlessly provide our patients with timely answers to their requests for forms, copies of testing, medical records, referrals, scanning of documents and the many other needs that are all part of providing quality family health care.

On Site Professional Phlebotomist
A highly trained andskilled professional phlebotomist will provide you with the best expertise and an optimum blood draw experience while freeing our busy clinicians for more direct hands on care with patients during their office visit.
